We started with combining the controller and the module. It makes things simpler and a whole lot more cost effective. Then we took out the need for an expensive software by making the time code text-based and streamlined. This can be imported from show design software or entered through a simple web browser with an ethernet cord. You can even make last minute changes right in the field with no laptop or internet connection.

The Ratel features 32 cues of digital firing, with 5 unique firing modes and a firing resolution of .01 second. Whether you like the thrill of manual mode or the consistency and precision of full auto, there is a mode for you. You can even link multiple Ratels to have multiple shots per cue. If you already have an existing controller or full system, use a Ratel for your last cue (or any cue) and have an entire finale scripted to your liking. A pyromusical has never been more attainable for the everyday shooter.

This is a professional-grade system. With a heavy aluminum die cast enclosure and military-spec components, the Ratel is water and shock resistant and will last for years. No need for an extra case to keep it protected. And a Ratel can be triggered with a simple electrical pulse. If you’re in a pinch, use a 9V battery! Trigger remotely with duplex wire or upgrade to wireless arming and firing for an additional cost.

We developed it to solve the issue of variable angle firing in a one-shot context. In other words, how to you angle mortars just the way you want them, without having to conform to just one angled rack? The answer is Uni-Prox. ​

    These durable units can be safely mounted in close proximity to each other, and be angled to your liking. The base of the unit is stationary with the swivel head sitting securely on top, able to handle even the harshest of kickback forces. Depending on the amount of intended use for the product, we can make the base and swivel head out of increasingly durable materials. The most common is HDPE, but aluminum and stainless steel are options for those wanting to shoot every day. The side plates and hardware are all stainless steel, making this a product that will last for decades.

    Simply choose your angle and insert the locking pin to keep it in place. The angles change by 7.5 degrees, from 0 to 45 each way, with a pre-set hole for each position. The pipes screw on with a custom collar which ensures the right fit every time. We use a universal thread size so if a customer would like to make their own collars and pipes, that’s a cost-effective solution. The pipes can accommodate any 1.4g product and up to 3” 1.3g. Uni-Prox can adapt to your current setup, so any size show will benefit from this solution!
